JAMES MCNAUGHTON James Joseph McNaughton, 87, of Newnan, formerly of Oregon, died Monday, May 21, 2018 at Brookdale Newnan. Born in Chicago, IL, July 11, 1930, he was a son of the late David and Mary Elizabeth McNaughton. He was a US Marine Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from AT&T where he worked in Human Resources. He attended St. George Catholic Church. Mr. McNaughton was the last surviving member of his immediate family having been one of four children. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Perryman and husband Ricky of Sharpsburg; step-children, Michael McGovern of Oregon and Kathy McGovern of California; four grandchildren, Christopher Williams and wife Alyssa of Newbern, NC and Catlin Oliver and husband Kyle of Sharpsburg, Sean McGovern of Portland, OR and Sera McGovern of Los Angeles, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
