James William (Jimmy) Fields, 78, of Newnan GA, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021. He was born October 27, 1942, in Newnan, Ga to James E. and Grace Nall Fields. Jimmy grew up in Newnan and graduated from Newnan High School in 1960 and attended Southern Tech in Atlanta, GA. He started employment with the US Postal Services in Atlanta and was the Head Auditor in the Banking industry until his retirement. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his children and grandchildren. They were his most precious treasures. He is preceded in death by his parents James E. (Ed) Fields and Grace Fields, and his son James William Fields, Jr. He is survived by his sister Kay Burgess Jensen, Newnan and children Christina Fields Bitrick, Newnan, Katherine Martinez, Norcross, Rachel Silvia, Lilburn and Jacob Fields, England, UK. Grandchildren are Sandy Mokan, Lake Oconee, Sydney Fields, Dillon Fields, Madison Martinez, Hannah Martinez, Emily Martinez and Victor Martinez, all of Norcross.
