James (Jimmy) Weldon Rowe, 48 years old, of Minneapolis, Minnesota and the Fish Clan began his spiritual journey April 5, 2017 from his home. He was born in Minneapolis, MN on May 21, 1968.

Growing up and into adulthood Jimmy was wiry, smiley and full of energy. His passion was cooking and was very good at it. He was also a hard worker. He loved to be around his friends and all his family, both biological and adopted. They were all very important to him.  He was so very excited when he discovered his biological family and was welcomed by them with open arms after having been separated at birth. School was always a struggle for Jimmy and it was a very proud day for him when he graduated from South High School. Discovering the Anishinabe Wakiagun house was a key event in his adult life. It was an important place for him, giving him a home where he was accepted, safe and cared for. His son Quinton Kennedy lives on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation in New York with his mother Carrie Kennedy.

Those welcoming Jimmy are his mother and father; William and Norma Rowe, mother and father; Rachel and Kenneth Smith, sister; Connie White, niece; Deanna White, grandparents; Hartley and Lillian White, Sr., uncle; Joseph White, aunts; Shirley White and Patrice Johnson and other relatives.
