DURHAM- Mr. James Haywood Utley, 72, of 708 Hazelwood Dr. died on Sunday, September 25. 2011. He was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Foster Utley and Texie Poe Utley. He retired from University Ford as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his brother Walter Lee is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Holsonback Utley, one brother, Herbert E. Utley (Wife) Neely of Hillsborough.
