James “Jimmy” E. Jones, 79, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 5, 2021 at Indianapolis University Health Methodist Hospital. He was born August 1, 1941, in Indianapolis to the late Mildred Brown. James was married to Mary Jones in Indianapolis.
James enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and going to the cabin at Lake Melissa were some of his favorite pass times.
James is survived by his wife Mary; children Linda Hawkins, Richard (Linda) Hawkins and Jimmy Jones; grandchildren Jamie Nogle, Rich Hawkins and Mr. Hawkins. He is preceded in passing by his parents and brothers John Brown and Fred Groves.
