James “Jimmy” Bartlett, age 77, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Gay Gravitt Bartlett, Flowery Branch, GA; children, Judith Rene Pennington, Flowery Branch, GA, William David (Lourdes) Bartlett, Winder, GA; Seven Grandchildren, One great-grandchild; brother, Wallace (Martha) Bartlett, Statham, GA; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Bartlett was born July 19, 1944, in Jonesboro, GA.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Vietnam. He received his education from East Hall and South Hall High Schools. Mr. Bartlett was a retired Maintenance Mechanic from Hormel Foods after 38 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith. He also enjoyed football with the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons, fishing, and Nascar.
