James “Jim” Wilton Pence, was born on November 27, 1932 in Ada, Oklahoma. He went to our Lord and Savior on April 25, 2017 at his home in Taft surrounded by his loving family. Jim lived and worked in Taft. He began his career with Standard Oil as a foreman from 1952 to 1966. While there, he advanced from apprentice to journeyman. Jim continued his journeyman experience from 1966 to 1990 with Humes Electric- from journeyman electrician to general foremen & vice president. From June 1990 to May 1991, he was the construction manager to Shell Oil for Pratt Consultants, Inc. From May 1991 to January 1993, he served as the construction manager to Shell Oil Company.
