James “Jim” W. Logsdon, 83, of Franklin, Indiana entered into rest on Thursday, December 19, 2019 in Franklin, Indiana.
Jim was born on Monday, October 19, 1936 to the late Virgil Logsdon and Lucy Jane (Reynolds) Logsdon. On Wednesday, July 29, 1964, Jim married the love of his life, Edna Brown.
Jim was a proud farmer for many years in Shelby county, Indiana. He was interested in tractors, especially old tractors and John Deere. He enjoyed many things such as; playing cards, working word search puzzles, and watching Nascar. He loved family gatherings and was always there to lend a helping hand.
Survivors include is wife, Edna Logsdon; children, James (Shelia) Logsdon Jr. of Bargersville, Sandra (Troy) Jolliff of St. Paul; sisters, Martha (Kenny) Bayliss of Franklin, Zelma (Leo) Grubbs of Whiteland; brother, Noah (Gaye) Logsdon of Franklin; grandchildren, Ashley Eldridge, Ryan Logsdon, Matthew Logsdon, Melissa Logsdon, Britany Lynn, Lucyanna Scoggins; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Spurlock, Kennedy Eldridge, Brentley Lynn, Zoey Logsdon, and Evie Logsdon.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Lucy Logsdon; daughter, Bobbie Jo Nehez; and brother, Kenneth Logsdon.
