James R. Talbott Sr. (Jim) of West Des Moines, IA, went to be with our Savior on November 6, 2021.
Jim was born to RE (Bud) and Evalyn Talbott on November 11, 1937. Jim was married to the love of his life, Karen, for nearly 64 years. To that marriage four children were born, Kathy Jo, James Jr., Pamala, and Sherry.
Earlier in life, Jim had various hobbies including, fishing, hunting, spending time outdoors, and making golf clubs. Spending time as a family was very important to him.
Jim is survived by his loving and faithful wife Karen; daughters, Julie Worden of Burlington, IA, Pamala (Steve) Wilson of Grimes, IA, and Sherry (Reggie) Bell of Waukee, IA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and two children.
