Jim Gauzens, 72, of Rockledge, Florida passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2020. He is survived by his wife Patricia, daughter Vanessa (Gauzens) Vowell, son Chris (Stephanie) Gauzens. He was “Papa” to Brody, Braxton, Jordan and Cody. He is survived by his sister, Judy Corbisiero of Hendersonville, North Carolina and niece, Gina Nicholson of Hendersonville, North Carolina. He predeceased by his parents Ted and Aloise Gauzens of Cullowhee, North Carolina and son-in-law Daniel Vowell.
He served in the US Army and in the Vietnam war. He went on to become an electrician with Florida Power and Light where he worked for over 35 years.
In his retirement, he enjoyed traveling, watching football (Go Canes!) and Nascar.
