Jim was born on April 5, 1943 at West Plains, Missouri to Forrest and Louvina (Thompson) Poe and passed away on August 13, 2019 at the Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 76.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Melvina F. Poe; his parents; one daughter Sarah Adame and his step-father, Johnny Poe.
Jim is survived by his children, Susan Poe and Jennifer Page both of Bristol, Sandra (Richard) Churchill of Lamar, James (Sharon) Poe of Holly and Melissa (Andrew) Sena of Lamar; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous other family and a host of friends.
