James “Jim” DuRall, 71 of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
Jim was born August 21, 1947 in Centralia, son of Cyril “Buck” DuRall and Dorothy (Reeves) DuRall Weibley. He married Marilou Miller on August 18, 1968 and she survives in Centralia.
In addition to his wife of 50 years, Marilou DuRall of Centralia, he is also survived by two daughters: Trisha Anne DuRall McElroy and husband Chris of Centralia and Tammy Michelle Ray and fiancé Steve Greer of Centralia; two grandchildren: Candice Nichole Groff and fiancé Derek Williams of Centralia and Richard Dwight Groff III and fiancé Cassandra Lybarger of Centralia; two step-grandchildren: Taylor McElroy and Anthony McElroy both of Centralia; two great-grandsons: Keegan Lee Williams and Kyson Trey Michael Williams both of Centralia; step great-grandson: Bentlee McElroy of Centralia; a sister and four brothers: Marilyn Owens of Centralia, David Durall and wife Faye of Wamac, Dennis DuRall of Centralia, Varlyn Weibley and wife Joyce of Wamac, Tony Weibley and wife Susan of Centralia; an aunt, Irene Lamb of Clinton, Illinois; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father: Wilbur Weibley and two sisters: Carolyn Skibinski and Sherilyn Starr.
Jim was a mechanic all his life, working at Booth Motor, Expert Tire, Firestone, Fairview Shell, Davis Radiator, and Smith Shell. He owned his own shop, J & M Repair and Classic Repair. Jim enjoyed boating, bowling, playing poker machines and lottery tickets. His wife, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandsons were his pride and joy.
