James L. “Jim” Cross, 76, of Moberly, passed away on December 9, 2019. He was born September 17, 1943, in Huntsville, MO to Harry Leon and Mary Sue (Turner) Cross.
Jim married Patricia Turpin on June 7, 1964, in Moberly and she survives in the home.
Also surviving are his children, Jim Cross of Madison and Sara Cross Bublitz and husband Joseph of Centerton, AR, three grandchildren, nephew, Mike Cross of North Kansas City, MO, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald Cross.
Jim was a member of the Kiwanis and SEA (Safeway Employee Association).
He was an avid KC Royals and Chiefs fan. Jim was a Moberly Area Junior College singer and also loved singing at church.
He preached at various churches including; Fairview, Clark, and Huntsville.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
