James “Jim” Brennan, 60, of Milford, passed away on October 9, 2022 peacefully surrounded by his daughters. Born on January 27, 1962, he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Oslai) Brennan.

Jim graduated from Bunnell High School Stratford in 1980, then went on to pursue his Bachelors of Manufacturing Engineering at Central Connecticut State University. He was a lifelong Milford resident and the owner of KCB Resources, named after his daughters Kayla and Courtney.

Jim lived life in the fast line, enjoying his Corvettes, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and Sister Hazel concerts. He was an avid reader and went to the beach daily to enjoy the calmness and serenity of the ocean. Jim loved his late beagle, Colton. Anywhere Jim went, Colton went too; the two were inseparable.

Jim is survived by his daughters, Kayla and Courtney, and Kayla’s fiancé Dave Morgia; his siblings, Tom and wife Sally, Joe and wife Michele; and his nephews, Dylan and Jesse. He will also be remembered by the mother of his children and good friend, Alisa Brennan, and his lifelong friends whom he thought of as family, Ed and Linda Allen, and Kurt Kandetzki.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Milford Hospital for their kindness and compassion in Jim’s final days.
