James Beryl Kemp died Monday, May 16, 2011 at his home on Lookout Mountain. He attended Baylor School and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Prep in Bardstown, KY. He also graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Jim had a successful and long career with Specialty Chemical Company based in Cleveland, TN. He was a member of Lookout Mountain Gold Club. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and golfing buddies. His parents, J. Beryl and Xavier Walsh Kemp and sister, Rosemary Kemp Boone preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Rosemary Kemp (Jeromy) Gwin, Montgomery, AL; three granddaughters, Catherine, Maggie and Ellis.
