James “Jim” Bean, 71 of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday at Bickford of Crawfordsville.
He was born in Lebanon to Russell and Mary Jett Bean. Jim was retired from RR Donnelley and Sons after 40 years. He was an avid sports fan with a special place in his heart for the St. Louis Cardinals, Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts and Crawfordsville High School Athletics.
Jim married Judy Ritchie on September 18, 1977, she survives. Also, surviving are his children, Tony (Amy) Bean, Katrina (Chad) Hill, and Jason (Tracey) Bean; Brother Jerry Bean; Grandchildren Ryan, Nathan, JR, Josh, Jack, and Gabi.
He was preceded in death by his brother John Bean.
