James (Jim/Jimbo) Jacob Berger passed away on August 19, 2015 in Louisville, Colorado. His mother, Jane Elizabeth Berger and his grandmother, Bertha Barbara Pautler, precede him in death. He was the loving husband of Sandra May Berger, whom he married in 1998.

Jim was born on December 13, 1961 in Denver, Colorado to Albert and Jane Berger. He attended Westminster High School where he graduated in 1980. He worked as a sales representative for MJB Sales, a company that he co-owned with his youngest brother Mike.

Jim was always a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed big game and wild bird hunting, four-wheeling and camping. He was always after the opportunity for a little good-natured heckling or to crack a joke and always had the people around him smiling. Jimbo’s best friend and comrade in his later life was his 3-year-old grandson, Gunner, although he loved to spend time with and spoil all of his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his brightly colored attire, wild spirit and the kindness and generosity he showed to all those around him.

Jim is survived by his wife, Sandy Berger; his only daughter, Anayah Pinson, and her husband Joshua Pinson of Thornton, Colorado. He is also survived by his father, Albert Berger of Grand Junction, his three brothers, and their spouses: David and Sue Berger (Minneapolis, MN), Steve and Fulvia Berger (Grand Junction, CO) and Mike and Sandra Berger (Westminster, CO). Jim leaves behind his nephew and nieces: Jared, Quinn, Manon, Raeleigh, and Breeze Ivarson. He also leaves his 7 grandchildren: Elise, Ian, Gunner and Aria Pinson, Michael (Mikie) Elieff, Alyssa Flood and Caleigh Elieff.
