James J. “Stuby” Stayback, 59, of Hudson Lake in New Carlisle, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in his home.
He was born on December 20, 1961 to the late Joseph H., Sr. and Marcella L. (Miller) Stayback in South Bend, IN. He had lived at Hudson Lake for his entire 59 years.
James graduated in 1980 from New Prairie High School. He worked Maintenance for Eaton Corporation in South Bend, IN for several years. Prior to that, he worked as a Service Technician for Kirby-Risk Company in both LaPorte and South Bend, IN.
He is survived by his better half, Bonnie Shepherd of Hudson Lake, IN; brother, Joseph (Joy Worrell) Stayback, Jr. of South Bend, IN; niece, Sara (Tommy Yagoda, Jr.) Stayback of Hudson Lake, IN; and his great nephew, Nicholas Stayback of Hudson Lake, IN.
James was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan and loved fishing. He will be dearly missed.
