James J. Pettigrew, 70, Anderson, died September 23, 2010 at Community Hospital, Anderson . He was born April 28, 1940 in Anderson, and resided in Anderson, Indiana.
He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors and served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church.
James loved woodworking, fishing, camping and being with family.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Brigitte. Daughter, Patzi Sheets Terry and grandson David Shawna and great grandchildren William, Jennifer and Ayden. Grandson, Anthony Summer, great grandson, Xander, granddaughter, Krystal. Son, Thomas Pettigrew Glenna, grandchildren, Carrie, Cylie and TJ. Also extended family in Germany and special friends Annelie Cates, Raymond & Ingrid Emery and sister-in-law Sharon Pettigrew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Goldie Dowden Pettigrew. Two sisters and one brother. Special friend, Jerry Cates.
