James J. Campbell, 90, formerly of Southwest Greensburg, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at his daughter’s home in North Irwin.
He was born in Vandergrift on Sept. 24, 1926, and was a son of the late Robert B. and Mary Johnson Campbell.
Jim was a graduate of the Greensburg High School class of 1944 and the class president.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Dorothy McWilliams Campbell; his second wife of nine years, Dorothy Shope Campbell; and his sister, Imogene Campbell.
Surviving is his daughter, Jeanne Campbell Suehr and husband, Clifton, of North Irwin; two grandchildren, Joanna (David) Gegorek and Christopher (Angela) Suehr; two great-granddaughters, Ramona and Maya; his stepchildren; his brother and sister-in-laws; and numerous nieces and nephews.
