James Ivan Johnson “Jimmy” 82 went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2016 at Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls, Montana. Jim was proceeded in death by his parents Ivan and Lona Johnson and two sisters Mary Barnes of Calgary and Arlene Kearney of Kalispell. He is survived by one sister Myrna Henry of Winnipeg, Canada. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Jim was in the United States Army as well as the reserves. After his honorable discharge he had an auto body business with his cousin until his retirement. During his life he enjoyed woodworking, furniture repair and other crafts. He also really loved being outdoors and being with family. The family would like to thank the Montana Veterans Home, especially the staff of the special care unit.
