James Yates 81, of Clinton passed away at his home on March 10, 2011.
He was born in Shepardsville to the late James Everett Yates and
Ella Lawhorn on July 4, 1929. James was a Operating Engineer with
Zorah Shrine, Vermillion Co. Low Twelve Club, Order of Eastern
Star W.T.H.#428, and lifetime memberships with the Eagles and
Half Centrey Clubs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marcella Yates, and
a son Kenneth I. Yates.
James is survived by two daughters, Karen Wilson of Clinton, and
Terri Riggen of Brazil; a son Donald Yates of Clinton; Five
Grandchildren, Mick Price, Donald Yates Jr. Kenny Moulton,
Kayla White, and Jessica Yates. Six Great-Grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews.
