James I. Beatty Jr.
Norwich – James I. Beatty, Jr., 73, of Pukallus Avenue passed away Saturday April 21, 2018 at the W. W. Backus Hospital.
He was the owner and operator of Niantic Roofing and worked the last few years at TVCCA in Norwich. He was a member of the Roofers and Slaters Local 248. James was an avid sports fan, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. He loved the ocean.
He was predeceased by his daughter Patricia Butler, mother and stepfather Gertrude and Urban Perry, father James Beatty, former wife Judith (Buckley) Beatty, two sisters Carol Berryman, Bonnie Oddy, and three brothers Richard Beatty, Urban Perry Jr. and David Perry.
James is survived by his two daughters Tammy West, Michelle Beatty, two sons Michael Beatty, Troy Beatty, two brothers Robert Beatty, Richard Perry, two sisters Margaret Reznik, Susan Perry and five grandchildren Jessica, Garrett, Nicole, Misty and Shaun.
