James Hugh Miller, better known to his friends as Jim, passed peacefully at his home Saturday, April 30th following a lengthy illness. A veteran of the United States Air Force he served at Yokota Air Base in Japan during the Korean conflict and enjoyed a successful career with Miller Printing Machinery Co. in Pittsburgh. He retired in 1986 as a Director from Wang Laboratories, Lowell, MA. Jim was known for his quick wit, love of sports, and his gardening talent. Above all, he was a dedicated and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and son. He will be missed by his wife of 57 years, Janice, daughters Lauri Thompson and Kara Calderara, sister Margaret Miller of Charleroi, PA, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
