James Hugh “JIM” Byrne, 68 of Rossville, GA, died on Friday, February 1, 2013 in a local hospital. He was born on February 8, 1944 in Rocky Mount, NC to the late Matthew Love Byrne, Sr. and Jessie Carroll Byrne. Jim graduated from Rocky Mount High School and Atlantic Christian College with a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. Jim was an avid tennis player and member of the Chattanooga Racquet Club.
