James H. McCulley, 90, of Walkerton, IN, passed away 4:42 p.m., Sunday, April 2, 2006, in Millers Merry Manor, Walkerton, IN. James was born on May 2, 1915 in Sparta, TN, to William Andrew and Martha Jane (Goodwin) McCulley, and had lived in South Bend sixty-one years, coming from TN. He retired on June 30, 1980 from The Bendix Corporation, where he was employed for thirty-six years. On March 1, 1946, in South Bend, he married Rebecca Ann Bragg, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Martha (Roger) Oltmanns of South Bend, IN and Sharon (Michael) Conrad of Kaukauna, WI; four grandchildren, Jennifer and Bob Conrad and Jeff and Brian Oltmanns; one sister, Enzena (Houston) Mullins of Sparta, TN; two brothers, Wilford (Ruth Jean) McCulley of St. Clair Shores, MI and Lee (Mary) McCulley of Sparta, TN; and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
