James H. Kuester, 71, of Peru, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Mr. Kuester was born on November 1, 1938, in Peru to Herman and Rose (Wieczorek) Kuester.
He worked at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in the kitchen for more than 40 years. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Peru. He is survived by one brother, Charles (Loretta) Kuester of Peru; one niece, Janet Wickstrom of Dalzell and a great-nephew, Marc Kuester of Sandwich.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Paul Kuester.
