Gravel, James Gravel, age 49, of Stratford, died September 5, 2005 in St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. Mr. Gravel was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. He was a former employee of Expect Drug Store. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Smith Gravel , one son, Sean Gravel of Stratford, two brothers, Joseph Gravel of Milford, and Gerald Gravel of Stratford, two sisters, Linda Gravel of Stratford, and Antoinette Leopardi of Ansonia and several nieces and nephews.
