CAMBRIDGE CITY- James Albert Gibson, 80, passed away peacefully Thursday evening May 7, 2020 at Golden Living Center, Oak Park, in Richmond, Indiana. James was born in Wayne County, Indiana on June 13, 1939. James was a lifelong resident of Cambridge City and attended Lincoln High School. He had been employed at D. & M. in Connersville for several years and retired in 2002 from Indiana Historic Landmark Foundations for whom he was caretaker of the Historic Huddleston House and property for 23 years. James was a history enthusiast and was a founding member of the Hoosier Blue and Gray Civil War roundtable.
Survivors include his 2 sons, Brad and Aaron Gibson; 7 grandchildren, Lauren, Alex, Hannah, Eric, Christopher, Bethany and Joshua; 3 great grandchildren, Charlotte, Freya and Delilah. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marguarite Gibson.
