James G. Pepin, 66, of Newington, loving husband and father passed away on Thursday April 9, 2015. James was born on December 20, 1948 and was the son of the late Roland and Gertrude (Currier) Pepin. He grew up in East Hartford and moved to Newington where he raised his family. Prior to retirement James was a registered nurse specializing in industrial and long term care for over 30 years. He enjoyed making puns, gardening, home improvement and the company of his dogs. He is survived by his wife Pamela (Saich) Pepin and his three daughters: Elizabeth Meade and her husband Christopher, Erica Pepin and fiancé Humberto Hernandez and Nicole Pepin. He also leaves his brothers: Paul Pepin and wife Arlene, Raymond Pepin and wife Jean: sisters Anne Housley and husband Peter, Mary Pepin, Marie Morris and Judy Pepin as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, James was predeceased by his brother Ronald, and twin brother Joseph Pepin. Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
