James (Jimmy) Fleming, age 49, passed peacefully in his home on May 8, 2019, surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with cancer. He was a native of Currow Co. Kerry, Ireland, is survived by children Sean, James, and Eadaoin, parents Mary and Paddy Fleming, sister and brothers Mary (Steve) Dietrich, Pat (Teena), and Tom (Lona), girlfriend Jeni Uswajesdakul, and the mother of their children Eilish Fleming. He was a beloved father and brother, and uncle to many. He was a proud member of Local #399.
He had a passion for running, having participated in the Chicago marathon in 2016, and ran daily along the lakefront. He enjoyed metal band concerts, motorcycles, and working in his yard on sunny days. He was a kind soul loved by so many and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. This world was incredibly blessed for the 49 years he was with us.
