James F. Hoffmann, 84, of Salem, Illinois passed away at Salem Township Hospital with his wife by his side. Born April 6, 1937, in Los Angeles, CA, he was the son of Sharon and Bernita Hoffmann. Prior to retiring, he was General Manager of an electronic company in California.
He married Lie-Lotte Swensson, on June 17, 1972, in Monrovia, CA and she survives in Salem. Also surviving are his children, Jeffery Hoffmann of Boulder City Nevada, Janice Freeman and husband Craig of Chino Hills, CA, Joan Hoffmann of Mohave Valley, Arizona, Sheralee Price of Vancouver, Washington, also grandchildren, Rachel Price, Katlin Price, Jared Price, Holly Howell and husband Matthew, Chelsae Freeman, Nicole Freeman, Mitchell Anderson and wife Darlene and their children Kaylee, Robert, Crystal, Khaleesi, and Kylie, along with several more great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Brian Anderson.
