Fraser, James “Jay” D., age 63, of Ridgewood, passed away December 28, 2015. Beloved husband of Megan (NEE: Heffron). Loving father of Christian, Maggie, and Catherine. Adoring son of Anne Fraser, and also survived by his beloved 4 legged companion, Maddie. For more than three decades, Jay was the Tennis and Paddle Tennis Professional at the Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club and Waldwick Covered Courts, and also was a Paddle Tennis Professional for Wilson Paddle Tennis Camps. He was a talented writer who penned a novel entitled ‘The Soul Stealer’. He also started his own exercise business named Heart Core Tennis. Jay was known for his sense of humor, joyous outlook on life, and his ability to spread good cheer. He was a passionate golfer, and loved most the view from the Adirondack chairs on the back porch of the Westhampton Country Club overlooking the 18th hole. Jay was an avid reader, loved to play Gin Rummy, and had a tremendous knowledge of Jazz, which he enjoyed playing on the piano. Most of all, he loved attending milestone parties of relatives and friends. Jay took great pride in being a husband and a father, and relished the achievements of his children as they grew into adulthood.
