James Franklin McCleary, 75 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022. He was born in San Diego, California the son of Gerald and Zula Mae McCleary. He moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 1987 from Chicago, Illinois. James retired from Walt Disney World as a Planned Work Specialist. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, The Eagles, and the Elks Club. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Post 4225 (Veterans of Foreign Wars), American Legion Post 10, Kissimmee, Florida and the D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans). James was an avid golfer and loved to sing Karaoke. James was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving his country with honor and distinction during the Vietnam War. James was also a christian by faith.

James is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Dayle McCleary, of Kissimmee, Florida; his sister-in-laws: Debbie Mooney of Gretna, Louisiana, Connie Eckels of Westfield, Indiana and Diana Mooney of Cranesville, Pennsylvania; his nieces: Kelly Pugh and her husband Scott of Cleveland, Tennessee, Christa Waller and her husband Lee of Cleveland, Tennessee, Jamie Watkins and her husband of Scott, Perry,Georgia, Krista Wallace and her husband Lamar of Gretna, Louisiana, Stacey Barris of Westfield, Indiana; his nephews: Chris McCleary of Atlanta, Georgia, Kevin Bortnick and his wife Juanita of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Greg Mooney and his wife Cathy of Oviedo, Florida, Jeff Mooney and his wife Melissa of Allison Park, Pennsylvania, Chris Mooney and his wife Jamie of Cranesville, Pennsylvania, and Doug Barris of Fishers, Indiana. James is also survived by 15 great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
