James (Jim) Francis Sostillio, 61, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away Wednesday, October 20th at Rockledge Regional Hospital Rockledge, Florida following a work accident.
Jim was born January 20, 1960, in Orlando, Florida. Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on his little piece of heaven on earth, “The Hideaway.” He loved to help others in any way that he could. He was the master of all trades from auto mechanic to furniture assembly and appliance repair. It was his passion to keep family and friends running smoothly. He was a determined, hardworking man who made family and friends the center of his life and he was always ready with a hug, a good laugh and an “I love you, baby.” Jim is remembered as a family man who gushed with pride over his two sons and grandchildren and took great care of his mother.
Jim will be sadly missed by his mother, Margaret Sostillio; his sons Jesse Sostillio (Jessica), Nicholas Sostillio (Richard); the mother of his children Julie Sostillio, his sisters Deb Sostillio, Angie Mills (Steve), Maria Hammett (Robert), Bernadette Sostillio; grandkids Jordan, Isabella, Carmella, and Eli; his four-legged companion Lucy; and lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jim is preceded in death by his father, Frank Sostillio, and his nephew, Trehy Sostillio.
