Babs was born April 29th 1946 in Joplin Missouri to James Floyd Smith Sr. and Bonnie Bonita Smith (Neeley). Babs lived a life full of adventure. He was brave enough to serve this great country from January 16th 1963 through November 19th 1976 serving as a Armor Crewman for the 1st SQDN 116 Armed CAV. Babs received 3 honorable discharges.
