James L. Fischer, 85, passed away in the comfort of his home on June 2nd, 2014. He was born in Royal Oak, Michigan.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Institute of Technology and went on to a 25 year career in Automotive Engineering in the Detroit area.
Upon retirement from engineering, he moved his family to California where he became a successful Real Estate Broker in Southern California. He was married for 54 years to Joan, whom he loved and cherished. He was preceded in death by his wife and his son Michael.
He is survived by his sons Thomas and Gerald Fischer, his daughters Laura Chambers and Patricia O’Brien, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 2 sisters Delores Barr and Pat Carlson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
