James Fairley Morton, 84, passed away on January 25, 2017 in Mobile, AL. He was the son of John William Morton, Sr., and Maggie Mae Anderson Morton. He is survived by a brother, George Neville Morton, Jackson, AL, and Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends. Fairley worked as a pharmacist for 62 years, in Clarke and Mobile counties. He was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Fairley loved to travel and his favorite place was Norway. He was a graduate of Auburn University and a die hard Auburn fan. Over the years, Fairley served in both the Rotary Club and the Interact Club. He loved the beach (living in that area for a few years), grilling and entertaining. Fairley was a people person, keeping his friends close. He lived church first with family and friends second, but equally important.
