Cambridge City- James F. Lynn, 77, passed away at his home in Cambridge City on Thursday November 26, 2009. James was born in Louden, Tennessee (near Lenoir City) on September 26, 1932. He has lived most of his life in the Cambridge City community. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Jim worked as a truck driver for CR Golay Company until the early 1980’s and for PROKO Industries of Cambridge City until his retirement in 1994. Jim enjoyed people and has been a good samaritan to many. He never met a stranger and was very good at finding 4 leaf clovers. He was a member of the American Legion
Survivors include his 2 sons and their spouses, Steven and Marti Lynn of Cambridge City, Jerry and Christy Lynn of Fishers; 3 grandchildren, Charla Keiser of Cambridge City, Chuck Lynn of Brookville and Bobbi Lynn of Phoenix, Arizona;
4 great grandchildren, Garrett and Adam Keiser, Wyatt and Whitney Lynn; 3 sisters, Naomi Doty of Cambridge City, Irene Marshall of Straughn and Rose Brown of Dunkirk; nieces and nephews: extended family, Bill Addison and Ashley Forrester; close friend, Steve Pavey.
