James F. Kleine of Carlyle died Sunday, November 14, 2010 in Tifton, Georgia at the age of 62 years.
Jim was born in Centralia on March 30, 1948, the son of Ralph ‘Hank’ and Maxine (Barger) Kleine. He married Karen Sellers on March 13, 1971 in the Messiah Lutheran Church in Carlyle, and she survives in Carlyle.
Jim is also survived by two daughters: Racheal Kleine of Harrison Township, Michigan and Megan Neimann and husband Jeff of St. Clair Shores, Michigan; a son: Aaron Kleine and wife Malissa of Carlyle; his mother: Maxine Kleine of Lebanon; two brothers: Robert Kleine and wife Karen of Carlyle and Michael Kleine and wife Elaine of Lebanon; and four grandchildren: Kayla, Allyssa and Jace Kleine and Jimmy Neimann.
Jim was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carlyle and the Men’s Auxiliary of the Goldsmith-Terry V.F.W. Post 3523 of Carlyle were he was presently serving as chaplain. He was employed at Norrenberns Truck Service in Nashville as a driver.
Jim served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He enjoyed participating in Trivia Night contests, but particularly enjoyed the time spent with his family.
