James “Jim” F. Frommer Sr., 78, of Whitehall, PA passed away on April 30, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth (Kozic) Frommer who celebrated 57 years of marriage together on April 2nd.
Born in Bethlehem, Jim was the son of the late Elwood J. and Margaret (Lapp) Frommer.
Graduating from Liberty High school in 1957, Jim went on to work for Bethlehem Steel, Lehigh Valley Rail Road and HWA Engineering Consultants.
He was a member of St. John’s Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church.
In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his children; Mary Jane wife of the late John A. Butz, Lois A. Steward wife of James P. and Dr. James F. Frommer Jr., grandchildren; Andrew husband of Danielle, Timothy husband of Heidi, Emily with Fiancé Jordan Keuler, John, William and the Late SPC James A. Butz, great grandson; Dean James, Sister Beverly A Edgett wife of Michael. Jim is preceded in death by his brother Robert.
