James F. Conrey, Jr (Jimo) passed away peacefully on March 31, 2014 at his Columbus home. He was surrounded by his family when his long battle with cancer ended. Jim was predeceased by his parents James and Bertha Conrey. Jimo graduated from Burlington City HS in 1949. He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Joan (nee: Avery) and their children: James, III (Bernadette), Joseph (Denise), John (Donna), Frances (Kim), eight grandchildren and precious companion Trixie. Jimo was the owner and Captain of the Henrietta, III, sailing out of Barnegat Light, NJ. He was also the owner of Pat’s Tavern in Vincentown, NJ. He was a lifetime member of the Princeton Rod and Gun Club.
