James F. Brewer, 79, Anderson, died August 7, 2003 at Veteran’s Hospital-Ft. Wayne after a sudden illness.
He was born December 14, 1923 in Kentucky, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived in this area since 1945. He retired in 1988 as a Union Concrete Finisher. He served his country in the US Army as a Private First Class during WWII engaged in the Invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. He received 5 Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the VFW #266, American Legion #127 and National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his Wife whom he married May 29, 1952: Doris Foust Brewer. Four Children: Jim & wife Juanita Brewer of Frankton. Thomas Brewer of Anderson. Penny & husband Gary Stoops of Anderson. Robin & husband Brad Campbell of Markleville. Four Sisters: Kathryn Ladwig of Anderson. Pauline Berry of Ohio. Deloris Nichols of Portland. Betty Beauchamp of Anderson. Seven Grandchildren: Billy, Doug, Benji, Brody, Malachi, Jareb and Caitlin. One Great Granddaughter: Chloe. Several Nieces & Nephews.
