James Eugene Gill, 76, of Trafalgar, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
James was born on Friday, February 11, 1944 to the late James S. Gill and Norma J. Gill. He married Shirley Kitchens Gill on February 22, 1969.
James was a member of the Fair Haven Christian Church in Franklin, Indiana.
James was an amazing artist and craftsman, he enjoyed creating his paintings. He loved being with family and friends. Some of his friendships extended over seventy years and began when he was just 6 years old. He cherished spending time with his grandson Clay, from going fishing to building things together.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
James is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Gill; his children. Jeanna (Chris) Mattison, Tim Stevens, Kent Ashpaugh; his grandchildren, Clayton Thomas, Devin Stevens, Dylan Stevens, Asa Stevens, Caleb Stevens; and great granddaughter, Savannah Stevens.
