Sun City Center – James Esley Ridgway, Sr., 81, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014, as a result of respiratory failure.
Dr. Ridgway was born October 9, 1932 in Fayette City, PA. He was a graduate of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL. Dr. Ridgway was a retired Methodist minister.
Dr. Ridgway was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter Ridgway, Jr., Richard Ridgway, Sr. and Lee Ridgway. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Carol Ridgway; daughter, Deborah Ridgway and her husband, Gary Couey; son, James Ridgway, Jr. and his wife, Melissa; granddaughter, Hannah Ridgway; grandson, James Ridgway, III; and many other loving family members and devoted friends.
