James “Zero” Edward Slattery, 73, of Anderson, passed away on January 26, 2021, at Community Hospital of Anderson.
He was born on December 2, 1947, in Anderson, the son of John and Virginia Slattery. Jim retired in 1999 from Delco-Remy Division of General Motors, having worked in production. He had also worked security at ESG. Jim was a member of the Anderson First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed watching old movies, sports, history, but most of all, spending time with his five granddaughters.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Juanita (Lawson) Slattery; children, Christine (Josh) Cox and William (Amanda) Slattery; grandchildren, Kaylie Cox, Nancy Cox, Kaylee Bloomer, Kelsey Slattery, and Kloe Slattery; brother, John (Debbie) Slattery; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Phil Slattery.
