James Edward Peiffer, age 76, was born on December 24, 1938 in Alameda, California to George and Helen Louise Grilley Peiffer. He passed away on May 2, 2015 in Ogden, Utah.
He served in Vietnam War in both the Navy and the Army. He was the father of 27 children and several step-children.
He was an intelligent man that always seemed to want to share his knowledge. He loved doing Elvis inpersonations. He wrote a horticulture book on roses, and he traveled from tribe to tribe in many Native American lands striving to be a peacemaker within the tribes. He was a very creative artist and had a voice that many loved to hear. He always seemed to have a kind way of saying things.
