James Edgar Webber, 79 of North East, MD, died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.
Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada, on February 12, 1934, he was the son of the late James and the late Dorothy (McClain) Webber.
Mr. Webber served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion.
He spent his life around horses, starting as a groom and moving into training.
Survivors include his devoted companion and friend: Ruth E. Vincent; his brother: Bill Webber and wife Betty; his sister: Susan Singer; his children: daughter, Dana Kincaid and Jason and son: Erich Webber and wife Michelle; 3 grandsons: Ethan Webber, Danson and Rackley Kincaid; 2 step-grandchildren: Jesse and Serena Roland; 3 step-great grandchildren: Ava, Alanya and Layla; and a stepdaughter: Vickie Allen.
He was predeceased by 2 sisters: Audrey Purvis, and Ruby Coadle.
