James Edward Macrander, 54, of Virginia, IL died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.
He was born July 12, 1957 in St. Joseph, MO; the son of James E. Sr. and Elizabeth Pearl Odell Macrander. He married Carla Ann Stults on April 8, 2000 in Virginia, IL and she survives.
He is also survived by two sons, James Kenneth Macrander of Jacksonville and Christopher Brian Macrander of Lincoln; three step children, Jeff Stults (wife, Fanchon) of Pleasant Plains, Mary Releford of Virginia, and Joseph Releford of Jacksonville; six grandchildren, Jocia of Lincoln, Hannah and Claire, both of Pleasant Plains, and Arionna, Joseph, and Gabriella, all of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cheryl Snow.
Mr. Macrander was employed for 11 years at Cargill Meat Solutions in Beardstown. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Virginia.
