James E. Farley, 85, of Indianapolis passed away on March 6, 2018. He was born on September 20, 1932 in Indianapolis to the late George and Bertha Farley. James married Barbara Cochran on August 3, 1957 in Indianapolis. He was employed at Lilly Industrial Coatings in shipping and receiving for 36 years, retiring in 1991. James served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
James is survived by his wife of 60 years Barbara, children Gary (Monica) Farley, Deborah (Steven) Manis, David (Lisa) Farley, George (Gail) Farley; grandchildren Julie (Jon) Stenger, Lee Manis, Christine (Paul) Banister, Michael Farley, Ariel Hairston, Samantha Farley, Benjamin Farley, Eliza Farley and Perry Farley; great-grandchildren Logan Stenger, Audrey Stenger, James Stenger, Corinne Banister; and sister Dorothy (Don) Beck. He is preceded in passing by his parents and sister Esther Marie Farley.
